Regional Transit System

Adbiz was proud to win the City of Gainesville, Florida, bid to help with all the marketing strategy and development across all media, including the web, for the City of Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS) – bus transportation for the Gainesville metropolitan area. 

That year was special for RTS – it was their 40th Anniversary! Adbiz designed a logo just for the occasion. We also changed the look and feel of and completed that year’s summer schedule, all their summer posters and then continued to design other materials, as well as update their brand and website … for the following four years!

Adbiz created award-winning print and video production. And, under tight deadlines, we succeeded in producing each semester’s (three per year) pieces for all the bus scheduling, rider information and instructions, special services, fares and passes, all ADA materials, advertisements, bus kiosk cards, brochures and maps, special items and giveaways, and all web data coordinated with print information. 

This client also benefitted from our advanced proofreading system, since one error in one number could make a big difference to a bus-riding customer.

RTS then requested that Adbiz produce a special campaign to get more people to use the bus, rather than drive (which makes both financial and environmental sense). After extensive research, our completed campaign, “Growing Up RTS,” tells the story of a woman who has ridden the bus as a child with her mom, then years later as a University of Florida student, then daily to her job after graduation. A lot of talented people contributed to this award-winning Adbiz campaign!

They’ve also taken a website from 3,500 hits a month to 3,500,000 hits a month!
