John W. Lundin, lawyer, historian and author, asked Adbiz to design a catch-all website whereby all his publications, presentations, essays and books can be highlighted, as well as his wonderful family history.
His book, Early Skiing on Snoqualmie Pass, was published by The History Press in October, 2017. The book discusses the history of skiing (both Nordic and Alpine) on Snoqualmie Pass, in particular, and in Washington State, in general, and contains over 110 historic photos.
John just finished two new books published in 2020: SunValley, Ketchum and the Wood River Valley and Skiing Sun Valley, A History from Union Pacific to the Holdings. He is donating the profits from both books to the Center for Regional History of The Community Library in Ketchum, Idaho.
John is a proud product of the West where his family members were early settlers and pioneers, drawn initially by hard rock mining. He has done extensive research into his family’s history for the books he is writing. There’s a great section in the new website, with awesome historical photos, of his early pioneer family.
After my first book, Early Skiing on Snoqualmie Pass, was published and I was writing my second book, Sun Valley, Early Years Under the Union Pacific Railroad, my publisher, History Press, suggested I create a website to better advertise my books and other accomplishments. After making inquiries, I hired Terry Chester of Adbiz in Sun Valley, Idaho to do my website. Terry did a great job and I have gotten accolades about it from many different sources. Terry was a pleasure to work with and made the job easy.
